This is one for the owner who wants to do his own work. It deals with rigging in both traditional and modern materials - and is especially valuable for off shore sailors who want to feel secure in the knowledge that should rigging carry away at sea they will be able to repair it. I particularly liked the drawings, the descriptions of rigging knots - and the addition of sensible calculation - methods of arriving at soft eye circumferences for rigging to spars, or minimum sheave diameters, for example.
