TradBoat Book Reviews

The Clyde Puffer

Don McDonald looks at the history of the Clyde Puffer, and includes many  period photographs - excellent for model makers looking for authentic detailing.  Here is Roman unloading potatoes on the Isle of Bute.  He has also included a first hand account of his time aboard Glencoy. The table outlining the development of the Puffer from Glasgow of 1857 to Sealight of 1930 is particularly useful.
